Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

  1. All articles submitted must declare their authenticity and have never been published elsewhere or sent or under review to other journals.
  2. All articles are written in English (American or British English) consistently OR written in Bahasa.
  3. This journal uses APA style citations.
  4. This journal uses Cambria fonts, 11 pts for content with 1.5 spaces. More details can be seen in the Article Template.

This journal has two types of contain:

Original Research:

Articles written based on research and will be decided through a double blind review process. The length of the article is between 7,000-8,000 words outside the bibligraphy.

Book Review:

Articles for Book reviews should be written based on the current books publication. Written with an article length of 1000-1500 words. Articles must be accompanied by a photo of the book along with the complete identity of the book including: Title, author's name, publisher, year of publication, ISBN, page amount. 

Special Issue

The Special Issue is provided for at least 1 time a year. This edition contains articles from conferences or scientific workshops which are held at least 1 years before being submitted. This edition will contain between 6-9 research articles in single or double issues with 1-2 proposers as Guest Editor and Co-Guest Editor. Submissions of proposals for the publication should written in the 2-page in length and submitted by the Guest editor and contains:

  1. All article titles submitted along with the name of the author and their affiliation.
  2. Plan for publishing time by considering the peer review process at least 6 months before.
  3. Short biography from the guest editor.
  4. Submission proposals can be sent via OJS or directly to: mfaishal@ub.ac.id with the subject email "Special Issue + Tentative Title"

All references taken from Journal Articles, Books, Book chapters, Thesis, Working papers, newspaper / magazine articles, online media, official print / online reports, conference papers and website resources, can refer to the APA citation style which can be checked at:  https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references/examples and please use our journal template

For non-native English author should prepare and responsible for proof readers and copy editors themselves.

Articles funded by grants and other funding sources can be listed as standard: “This work was supported by (Funding Bodies / Agency) under Grant (number and year)”. 

Article Reprints

Each author and reader who wants to get a printed version of the publication are pleased to order via email: mfaishal@ub.ac.id with the cost of printing and shipping in accordance with the provisions of the journal manager.

Author Fee

JPPOL will not charge anything to the author for submission fee or publication fee.
 
Commitment to Antiplagiarism

All submitted manuscripts will be double-checked for plagiarism using at least two anti-plagiarism softwares and JPPOL unique detection of plagiarism. The submitted manuscripts written under the same 100% or less condition as other published manuscripts would be blacklisted and its authors would be reported to Moraref committee.
